Save the date for the 2014 HMBCA Community Garage Sale!

This year's edition of the HMBCA Community Garage Sale will be held on Saturday, June 7th!  This is your chance to get rid of those unwanted items you've dug up during spring cleaning and put a little extra cash in your pocket.

Why register for the community garage sale?

Within the next few weeks registration will open so HMBCA members can list their garage sale on our website and on a printed list and map for eager shoppers. The HMBCA takes care of all the advertising to make sure that the entire city knows we're open for business! The more homes that register and hold a garage sale, the more shoppers that we can attract.

The rain date for the sale is Saturday, June 14th.

Stay tuned for more updates!

The Easter Bunny is coming to Half Moon Bay!

When: Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 10am to about 11am
(Rain Date: Saturday, April 26)
Where: Half Moon Bay Park

We got a tip that once again the Easter Bunny has hidden his eggs at Half Moon Bay Park and needs help collecting them on Saturday, April 19th!

At 10am we're inviting the kids of Half Moon Bay to collect the eggs around the play structures and near the soccer field at Half Moon Bay Park. For every 10 eggs found the kids can exchange them for some peanut-free chocolate! Kids under 4 will hunt near the play structure, and older kids near the soccer field.

To keep it fair for everyone, we ask that no hunting begin before the official start.

Volunteers needed!

The Easter Bunny is also looking for some volunteers to help get ready for the event earlier Saturday morning. Please contact Lisa Noseworthy, Director of Events, at events@hmbca.ca if you can help out.
