under the Stars. The evening will feature a screening of the new Universal Studios hit movie “The Lorax” by Dr. Seuss on a massive three story high inflatable screen in Manotick’s Centennial Park located behind the Dr. Leach Arena & Manotick Ball Diamonds. This event is open to everyone, with the
screening beginning at sunset! People should arrive between 7:30 & 8:00 p.m. with their chairs, blankets and snacks ready to enjoy this movie under the stars!
The West Barrhaven Community Association and the Havenlea-Chapman Mills Community Association along with Sequoia Community Church are presenting a great line up of Movies in the Park this summer.
Family friendly movies will start at dusk. Free snacks will be provided at the Sequoia Fun Cruiser starting at 7:00pm. Sequoia has purchased the required licenses for showing these films in an outdoor setting from ACF-Film.com.
The directors of the Half Moon Bay Community Association will be out this Sunday morning (15th) to clean up River Run Park and then the path around the pond. If you feel like throwing on some gloves and giving us a hand we would love to see you there.
If you have any questions or comments regarding HMBCA please feel free to talk to anyone wearing a green Half Moon Bay Community Association t-shirt. And don’t be offended if we don’t shake your hand…because…you know… we’re picking up garbage.
