The Board of Directors is made up of a dedicated group of volunteers who are committed to making the Half Moon Bay community the best place to live in Ottawa. Becoming a Director requires a commitment of attending monthly meetings, attendance at events, and being available to assist members through email, phone, or in person.

OPENINGS:

Director of Public Relations
The Director of Public Relations is responsible for overseeing the Social Media Platforms on behalf of the Half Moon Bay Community Association. In this role, the Director is responsible for managing the HMBCA Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts in order to engage and communicate all events and news to the HMBCA Members. This includes assisting in the development of the HMBCA newsletter.

The HMBCA Board of Directors are collectively managing this position until a Director has been found.

Director of Member Services
The Director of Member Services is responsible for overseeing membership activities on behalf of the Half Moon Bay Community Association. In this role, the Director is responsible for managing the HMBCA website in order to develop, update and distribute information to current and prospective members. This includes the development and distribution of the HMBCA newsletter, as well as supporting community blog posts.

Director of Sponsorship
The Director of Sponsorship is responsible for pro-actively sourcing potential partners; developing and presenting creative partnership packages and proposals; managing and delivering on all partnership agreements; ensuring all sponsors achieve their business objectives; and leveraging HMBCA's online platforms and community newsletters fro cross-promotion opportunities.
