We need volunteers!
The Half Moon Bay Community Association is run by members of the community just like you! The community association relies on volunteers, sponsorships, and advertisers to operate.
There are no strict commitments required for being a volunteer with the Half Moon Bay Community Association. Volunteers will be called-upon to help with events and other activities by the Board of Directors. Typically an email will be sent out to the Volunteer Committee with specific tasks or requests.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is made up of a dedicated group of volunteers who are committed to making the Half Moon Bay area the best place to live in Ottawa. Becoming a Director requires a commitment of attending monthly meetings, attendance at events, and being available to assist members through email, phone, or in person.
At the moment, Directors are appointed as decided by the Executive Committee. In the future the HMBCA will be holding Annual General Meetings which will include General Elections.
