The Half Moon Bay Community Association (HMBCA) Board of Directors is pleased to announce that the City of Ottawa, in an effort led by HMBCA and City Councillor Jan Harder, has approved an amendment for a rezoning that expands the area where the discharge and use of firearms is not permitted. The boundary has now been extended west to Highway 416 and south to Barnsdale Road. This area includes the developments of Half Moon Bay, The Meadows, and Quinn's Pointe. This change is effective immediately. We thank City Council for their quick attention to this matter.
